Sylvia Loftin Freeman

Sylvia Loftin Freeman, 86, of Albemarle passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 16, 2024, surrounded by those she loved the most, her family.

Sylvia was born November 6, 1937, in Troy to the late Clete and Gladys Loftin. She was also preceded in death by son, Clifford B Freeman Jr, grandchildren; Josh and Mandy Freeman, son in law Alfred Perry, brothers; Bill Loftin, Tom Loftin, Danny Loftin, Jimmy Loftin, sisters; Virginia Hunsucker, Frances Ragsdale, Catherine Zachary and Nancy Mauldin.

Survivors include daughters; Cathy Freeman Perry (Al), Sonya McCullough (Chip Miller), Sara Kiser (Michael), Taylor Freeman and Alex Freeman. Great grandchildren; Haylee Hepler (Michael Ashe), Riley McCullough, Andon McCullough, Boe Kiser, Cash Kiser and Cordelia (aka Dilly) Kiser. 

Sylvia was a member of Wadeville Methodist Church. She was most proud of her family and loved spending time with the grand and great grandchildren. She looked forward to “family night” each week. She will always be remembered for her loving, kind, compassionate and giving heart. She was truly a servant of our Lord and Savior. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
