Sylvia Holshouser

Sylvia Janette Holshouser, 78 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at her home. Sylvia was born June 17, 1935 in Stanly County to the late Herman Lester Holshouser and the late Bertha Fay Howard Eury. The graveside service will be at 11 AM on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Poplin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Richard Carlisle will officiate. She is survived by her daughter, Sharren Hinson and husband Michael of Raleigh; granddaughter, Stephanie Dillingham and husband Tony of Raleigh; grandson, Darren Hinson of Greenville; sisters, Carolyn Holshouser of Albemarle, and Shelby Lockhart of Kentucky; and two great-granddaughters. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Holshouser family.
