Sylvia "Vonnie" Lavonne Whitaker Miller, 68 years of age, of Concord, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Vonnie was born January 21, 1947 in Cabarrus County to the late Spencer Eugene Whitaker and the late Mary Louise Thompson Whitaker Bunn. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Clarence "Butch" Miller, Jr.; son, Timothy Chad Miller; and daughter, Carol Jean Miller.
The family will have a private family service.
She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Miller of Concord; son, Kevin Miller and wife Lori of Concord; seven grandchildren, Chasity, Kirsten, Wesley, Spencer, Courtneay, Ryan, and Timothy Austin, five great-grandchildren; brother, James Lee Whitaker.
