Sylvia Swaringen

Sylvia Greeson Swaringen, 75 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System Main in Charlotte.
Mrs. Swaringen was born December 16, 1941 to the late Herman Smith and Pansy Oldham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ray Alan Greeson, Sr., and daughter, Faith Greeson Miears.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Keith Dixon.
Survivors include: husband, George Swaringen; daughter, Angelia and husband Rodney Edwards; son, Ray Alan Greeson, Jr; daughter, Annette and husband Scott Mangum; sisters, Pat Craig and Joyce Breland; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Swaringen family.
