Thomas "Malcolm" Love, 82 years of age, of Midland, NC passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Malcolm was born December 19, 1934 in Stanly County, NC to the late Thomas Melbourne Love and the late Jocelyn Easley Love.
He was also preceded in death by his devoted wife of 60 years, Jackie Love.
Survivors include his daughter, Tena (Jeff) Love Eudy of Midland; his daughter, Bonnie Love Basinger of Charlotte; his son Phil (Vicki) Love of Midland; his son Mike Love of Monroe; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and his brother Robert Love.
Mr. Love proudly served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. He spent many years working on his farm and helping his neighbors. Malcolm loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be truly missed by his family and all those who knew him.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Carolina Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm, officiated by Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace. Burial will take place in the church cemetery with military honors.
