Tamara Whitley

Tamara Kennedy Whitley, age 60 of Albemarle, North Carolina 28001, passed away on November 6, 2010 at her home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Hartsell Funeral Home – Albemarle. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. The Rev Leslie Wray will officiate. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery. She was born in Stanly County on March 06, 1950 to the late Walter Jordan Kennedy, Jr and Dorothy Carpenter Kennedy. Tamara is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Whitley who passed away in 2000. Tamara is survived by her sister Joyce Kennedy Rogers and husband Claude of Albemarle, one brother, Chuck Kennedy of Myrtle Beach, SC; and one niece, Emily Rogers Thompson and husband John of Albemarle, NC.
