Tanya Leigh Mitchell Jones Wallace, 51 years of age, of Midland, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Tanya was born September 16, 1965 in Fairfax County, Virginia to the late Rufus Jackson Mitchell and the late Wanda Sue Safrit Mitchell.
The family will have a private family service on Saturday, December 17, 2016.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Wallace of the home; children, Michael and John Judge, and Carmen Jones; grandchild, Jackson Wallace; and brother, Bob Mitchell.
Tanya was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a phenomenal person, who will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
