Ted Drye

Ted Houston Drye, 64, of Concord, NC, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011, in Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast of Concord, NC. Mr. Drye was born May 15, 1947, in Cabarrus County, NC, to Houston Monroe Drye, and Ruth Frances Baggarly Drye. He was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Toby Drye. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Concord. Mr. Drye owned his own business, Ted Drye Wallpaper. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his sister, Raundra Hill and husband, Charles J. Hill; and nieces, Paige Hill and Darla Hill. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, at Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis. At other times, the family will meet at the home of his sister, Raundra Hill at 215 Central Heights Drive, Concord.
