Ted Mceachern

Ted Archie “Sonny†McEachern, 69, of Lexington, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ed Armfield officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Mr. McEachern was born June 21, 1940 in Cabarrus County to the late Jacob Archie McEachern and the late Lola Barbee McEachern. He was a graduate of Harrisburg High School and, before retiring, he was self-employed as a truck driver with J & S Transport. He attended Cotton Grove United Methodist Church in Lexington. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Old Hickory Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen Hartsell McEachern, of the home; daughters, Robin McEachern Bulla and husband, Bobby of Trinity and Kellie McEachern Trexler and husband, Ricky of Lexington; sisters, Letha Gilland and Shirley Dover both of Salisbury; grandchildren, T.J. and Chase Bulla, Trey Gallimore and Connor Trexler.
