Teresa Cook

Teresa Cook, 72, of Concord, gained her angel wings on Thursday, November 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Teresa was born April 17, 1951, in Charlotte to the late Loy and Katie Mae Stroupe.  

She enjoyed her neighborhood Bible study and was incredibly strong in her faith, leading by example.  Her genuine smile brought brightness to others and was a source of comfort for many.  Teresa was very gracious, kind, humble, thoughtful and creative.  Most of all, she dearly loved her grandchildren, who were her entire world.  Teresa was a loving wife, mom, sister and Nana.  

Survivors include her beloved husband of 52 years, Stephen Cook of Concord; daughter, Jennifer (Luke) Teague of Harrisburg; daughter, Caroline (Adam) Cook-Frers of Charlotte; 4 grandchildren, Cameron Teague, Finley Kate Teague, Carter Teague, and Grant Frers; brother, Loy Stroupe, Jr. of Charlotte; and sister, Lisa Stroupe of New Mexico; and nephew, Daniel Stroupe of New York.

Teresa's Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Venture Church, 4345 Main St., Harrisburg, officiated by Rev. David Henderson.
