Teresa Kay Ross Furr

Teresa Kay Furr, 61 of Mount Pleasant, went to be with her Lord, Friday, June 28, 2024, surrounded by family. 

Teresa was the daughter of the late Ray Henderson Ross and Margaret Faye Ross. She attended Mount Pleasant High School and was a member of Cold Water Baptist Church. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. Teresa never met a stranger and loved others unconditionally. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her family. 

Teresa was survived by her husband of 39 years, Dennis Lee Furr of Mount Pleasant, daughter Jeannie Marie Burgess and husband Josh Dale Burgess, of Mount Pleasant and son, Kevin Lee Furr of Mount Pleasant; brother James Ray Ross and wife Cindy Cobb Ross of Concord and sister, Lori Ross Stacy and husband Donald Russell Stacy of Concord. Teresa was a loving aunt and cousin to many. Her most prized title was Maw Maw to her grandchildren, Rachael Lynn Burgess and Desmond Luke Burgess. 

The family will hold a celebration of life for Teresa from 1:00pm-2:00pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, officiated by Pastor Don Burleyson at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The burial will be a private event for the immediate family at a later date.
