With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Teresa, who sadly lost her battle with cancer on June 24, 2022.
Teresa Petita Jimenez was born on June 7, 1949, to Cruz Pico and Jose Arreaga in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She was the eldest of seven children.
She married Angel A. Jimenez and had three children, Rita Dominguez, Martha Castro, and Angel Jimenez Junior. She was a supportive mother-in-law to Modesto Dominguez and Cesar Castro; a loving grandmother to her three grandsons, Paulo Roberto Dominguez, Oscar Eduardo Castro, and Christopher Dominguez, and two granddaughters, Diana A. Castro, and Claudia I. Huber; and an amazing great grandmother to Rebecca Castro, Rayleigh Dominguez, and Dillynn Dominguez.
First and foremost, Teresa was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, and her family. As a devoted daughter and sister, she always cared for and supported her parents and family back home in Ecuador. She was an exceptional mother, loving and caring for her children until the end. Possessing admirable strength and passion, she overcame many tribulations. She loved cooking, plants, traveling with her family, and was always ready to take care of anyone who came to her home. Her hobbies included sewing, planting, and cooking for her family. For her exemplary love and strength in everything she did, Teresa will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
