Terry Morton

Terry Wayne Morton, 59 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 surrounded by family and friends at his home. Terry was born March 16, 1954 in Stanly County to the late Hubert Morton and Willie Hazel Furr Morton of Stanfield. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Ted Morton, Rev. Sam Wilson and Rev. Chris Messina will be on Sunday at 4:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at the Oakboro Cemetery in Oakboro, NC. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Ann Little Morton of Albemarle; sons, Terry Wayne (Tabatha) Morton Jr. and Ronald (Donna) Morton, both of Kannapolis; Brandon (Lisa) Burnette of Locust; daughter, Melanie Burnette of Red Cross; brothers, Richard (Delane) Morton and Ronnie Morton of Stanfield, Eddie (Lisa) Morton of Frog Pond; sisters, Gilda Yow and Barbara (Gene) Yow of Stanfield; and six grandchildren.
