Thelma Martin

Thelma Justina (Eckenrod) Martin, 92 years of age, of Kannapolis, NC, formerly of Johnstown, PA, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2016.
Thelma was born September 26, 1923 in Johnstown, PA to the late Aaron Randolph Eckenrod and the late Marie Gertrude Eckenrod. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Martin in 2002; brothers, Ralph and Paul; as well as sisters, Shirley and Arlene.
Survivors include her daughters, Tam Spisak & husband, Bob and Chris Bothwell & husband, Fred; son, Paul Martin; grandsons, Michael Bothwell & fiancée, Kevin Braasch and Brian Spisak & girlfriend, Nancy Blaker; granddaughter, Stacy Meyers & husband, Keith; three great grandchildren, Kaden, Ryland and Paxton Meyers; sisters, Reta Mae Manges and Rose Marie Rubbo; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Thelma had a long, healthy, happy life surrounded by her loving family who will miss her dearly.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown, PA.
