Thelma Peacock

Thelma Peacock, 92, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. She was born on September 7, 1918 in Harlem, GA to the late Herschell and Selena Akins. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Preston Peacock who passed away on June 18, 1976 and sisters, Mitchie Reece, Lucille Cauley, and Dorothy Steele. A private memorial service will be held at Westover Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, GA. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy C. Charnock and husband, Ryland, of Mint Hill, NC; son, Robert M. Peacock, Sr. and wife, Janice, of Concord; grandchildren, Jonathan McNair, Sr. and wife, Kathy, Harry McNair, Kimberly Hill and husband, Scott, and Robert Peacock, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jonathan McNair, Jr., Renee McNair, Grant Hill, Natalie Hill, Rusty Watson, and Ritchie Watson; great great grandchildren, Noah McNair, Aly McNair, Brody Watson, and Hunter Watson.
