Thelma Wilkins

Thelma Lee Hudson Wilkins, age 85, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00. At other times the family will meet at the home of her daughter, Shelia Morgan Fraley. The funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Joe Smith will officiate and the burial will follow in Hudson Cemetery, Aquadale. Thelma was born on March 3, 1928, to the late Floy Hudson and the late Bertha Hudson. She is also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Wayne Morgan and two sisters Annie Hudson and Vallie Hudson. She is survived by a son, Dale McCoy Morgan of Lexington; two daughters, Libby Widener of Meadowview, VA, and Shelia Fraley of Denton; brother, Irvin Hudson of Mt. Gilead; sisters, Colleen Treece of Salisbury and Emma Fraley of New London, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Wilkins family.
