Theodore Laszlo

Theodore "Ted" Andrew Laszlo, 63 years of age, of Albemarle, NC formerly of Olmsted Falls, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2016.
Ted was born August 3, 1953 in Ohio to the late Ernest Laszlo and the late Marion Gertrude Laszlo. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Toby and his sister, Jenny; as well as his nephew Nick.
Survivors include his daughter, Erika Goltz and husband Chris of Kannapolis, NC; twin daughters, Alexis and Nicole Laszlo of Deltona, FL; grandsons, Blaine Laszlo and Christopher Goltz; brothers, Ernest and Steve Laszlo, and sister, Faye Schmidt; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ted proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1972 to 1974, and was a member of the Reserves until 1978. Ted loved music and enjoyed singing with the Stanly County Chorale. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan for his entire life. Ted had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 29th, 2:00 pm at the Concord VFW, 480 Veterans Ave SE, Concord, officiated by Pastor Jeff Bates. Another memorial service will be held July, 2017 in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, time and day to be announced later.
Memorials may be made to the Stanly County Chorale, or to your local VFW.
