Thomas Bolick

Thomas Loy Bolick, 76, of Concord, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Universal Healthcare. A memorial service, officiated by Kirk Sams, will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Kannapolis Church of Christ, 2315 Concord Lake Road in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends after the service. At other times the family will meet at the home. Mr. Bolick was born on March 10, 1935, to the late Loy Edward Bolick and the late Lena Belle Lael Bolick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Stine. Thomas was the minister of Shelby Church of Christ for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gay Lanier Bolick; a daughter, Jill Bodenheimer and her husband, Clay of Concord; a son, Mark Thomas Bolick and his wife, Karen of York, SC; five grandchildren, Katie Moore, Presley Bolick, Hannah Bodenheimer, Alison Bodenheimer, Pierson Bolick; a great-grandchild, Madison Sarver; and a sister, Ruth McCormick.
