Thomas Brown

Thomas Brown, 60, of New London, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in the state of New Jersey.

Mr. Brown was born December 22, 1961 in Newport Tennessee to the late Alfred Brown and the late Essie Hayes Brown.

He was also preceded in death by wife, Sherry Lynn Brown and brother, Timothy Brown.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, June 20, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle with the service being officiated by Reverend Steve Jackson .

Survivors include daughter, Nekita Brown of New London, NC, daughter, Brandy Brown of New London, NC, son, Thomas Anthony Brown of New London, NC, grandson, Kenny (Destiny) Poplin, grandson, Christian Poplin, grandsons, Isaiah Medley and Roger Brown, granddaughters, Kiera Brown and Serenity Brown, great-granddaughter, RaeLynn Poplin, great-grandson, Hudson Poplin, sister, Ethel (Orlando) Washington of Atlanta, GA, sister, Betty Brown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that memorials may be made to “Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle” to help assist with funeral service expenses.
