Thomas Hayes

Thomas Lewis Hayes, 66 years of age, formerly of Watertown, NY passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at his home in Locust, NC.

Tom was born June 16, 1948 in Watertown, NY to the late Lewis Robert Hayes and the late Mary Louise Strauss Hayes.

There will be a service at a later date.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jude Ann Riehmann Hayes of Locust; sons, Thomas L. Hayes, Jr. of Parrish, FL, Jeremy G. Hayes of Charlotte, and Matthew L. Hayes of Charlotte; daughter, Heather E. Hayes-Johnston of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; brother, Patrick Hayes of Cape Vincent, NY; sister, Sally Hayes-Siembab of Tamarack, FL; and grandchildren, Aaron Hayes, Taylor Hayes, Brandon Hayes, Jackson Hayes, and Jameson Hayes.

Tom enjoyed life and leisure on the Saint Lawrence River. Boating, fishing, and gardening were his passions.
