Thomas Kuenzi

Thomas Frederick "Tom" Kuenzi, 75, of 1006 Bostwood Lane Concord passed away on October 13, 2010 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Born on May 15, 1935 in Madison, Wisconsin to the late Fred and Elsie Patrick Kuenzi. Mr. Kuenzi was a veteran of the US Army. He was a truck mechanic and shop foreman for Commercial Equipment in Charlotte. He was previously employed by UPS in Wisconsin as a mechanic. He was also a 20 year member of the labor union. Tom was an active member of Harrisburg United Methodist Church. The family meeting place will be the home. A visitation will be at Harrisburg United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 10 until 10:45 AM. Funeral services will follow at the church at 11 AM, with the Rev. Dan Hester officiating. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery, with military rites performed by Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard. Survived by: wife, Kathleen S. Kuenzi of the home; son, Thomas William Kuenzi and wife Mary of Wisconsin; daughters, Cathy Henry and husband James of Las Vegas, NV, Carolyn Prince and husband Tom of Milwaukee, WI, and Danielle McKenzie of Concord; sister, Patricia Heller of Fl; 5 grandchildren.
