Thomas Ledwith McKee III

Thomas L."Pop" McKee, 81, of Locust, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle.

Tom was born July 15, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas Ledwith McKee, II and the late Ursula Kyle Brown. 

He was also preceded in death by sister, Geri Andrews.

Services will be held at a later date.

Survivors include wife of 42 years, Debbie McKee of the home; children, Debi Regan, Kimberly Waltz, Lisa McKee, Thomas M. McKee, Tara Ferrier, Mark Harrison, and Angie McKee; 20 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed being outside, doing yard work, and watching all of his children and grandchildren play ball. He loved his dogs Buddy and Tiny. Tom was a resident of West Palm Beach, FL for most of his life and loved to go to the beach and be in the hot sun.
