Thomas Stirewalt

Thomas Glenn Stirewalt, 73, of Midland, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

He was born December 10, 1945 to the late Clifford Glenn Stirewalt and the late Mattie Virginia Stirewalt. Thomas was a veteran of the US Airforce from 1965-1969 and a member of the Order of Long Leaf Pine.  He worked for the State of NC for 33 years doing maintenance of historic sites.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1:00 pm at St. Stephens Wesleyan Church in Concord officiated by Pastor Gary Morris. Burial will follow at the St. Stephens Wesleyan Church at 7601 Brush Arbor Rd., Concord.

Survivors include wife of 53 years Suzette Stirewalt of Midland, NC; son, Michael Stirewalt; daughters,Nancy (Matt) Thiel of Midland,and Kellie (Danny) Dye of Midland, NC; grandchildren, Blair, Nathan,Taylor,and Abigail.
