Thomas Turner

Thomas Turner, age 75, of Midland, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at his home. Mr. Turner was born on August 20, 1937, to the late Thomas Clifford Turner and the late Mary Frances Hamilton Turner. He was also preceded in death by a brother William Turner. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Saturday June 22, 2013 from 12 - 2:00pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 in the chapel with burial at Carolina Memorial Park, Harrisburg. Dr. Tommy Ross will officiate. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Gale Sharon Jacques Turner of the home; two daughters, Deborah Wilson and husband, Wayne, of Midland, and Mary Moose and husband, Johnny, of Mt. Ulla; and grandchildren, Travis and Megan Moose, Bain and Ben Wilson. Thomas served as an electrician on a nuclear submarine in the Navy, and retired as a mechanical engineer from Phillip Morris, USA. After retirement he continued to work as a consultant. His integrity was reflected in his work ethic and his love and devotion to his family. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving Turner family.
