Timmie Rushing

Mr. Timmie Gene Rushing, 51, of 3200 Rimer Road, Concord, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at his home. He was born on May 26, 1959 in Cabarrus County to Linda Sue Rushing and the late Ira Eugene Rushing. Timmie was a detailer with Tim Marburger Collision Center. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Britt and Minnie Hatley and his paternal grandmother, Ollie Rushing. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens with A.W. Sutton officiating. He is survived by his wife, Angela Denise Sutton Rushing, of the home; daughters, Amberlee Denise Rushing, of Mt. Pleasant, Linda Michelle Rushing, of Concord, and April Amelia Rushing, of Concord; brothers, Terry Eugene Rushing and wife, Donna, of Locust and Danny Joe Rushing, of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Debbie Sue Williams, of Spartanburg, SC; paternal grandfather, Paul Efird Rushing; two grandchildren, Shelton Daniel Bost and Amelia Marie Bost; nephews, Chad Eugene Rushing and Terry Dales; and nieces, Tina Dales, Jennifer Anne Lowder, and Tammy Sue Stewart.
