Timothy "Tim" Welch Green

Tim was born in Vidalia, GA on April 4th, 1956 to the late Mr. Thomas Mercer Green and to the late Mrs. Lovdie Moseley Green.

Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. As a follower of Christ, he spent time serving those in his community and going on mission trips to be the hands and feet of Jesus. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and kayaking. Tim was a very talented carpenter. He knew that God had blessed him with the ability to use his hands, so he always had a project going on, and a heart willing to help others in need. 

Tim and Susan were happily married for 37 years and had four kids. He adored his wife and children and worked hard to provide for them. 

Tim was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas Green and Johnny Mercer “Merk” Green.

Family members left to mourn his passing include his wife, Susan Green; two sons, Max Woods and Travis Woods and wife, Ericka; two daughters, Brandy Kinley and husband, Scott, and Brittany VonCanon and husband, Ryan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Tim leaves 1 brother, Efton Green and wife, Diane; two sisters Laura Anderson and husband, David, and Marie Lee. 

Services will be held at Crossroads Church (220 George W Liles Pkwy SW, Concord, NC 28027) on Thursday July 20th, 2023. The family welcomes you to come share a memory of Tim at the visitation from 1:30-2:30 pm. The Funeral Service will directly follow at 2:30 pm. A graveside service will be at 4:00 pm at West Concord Cemetery.
