Tommy Carpenter

Tommy Allen Carpenter, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Atrium N. East in Concord.

Allen Carpenter was born August 16, 1939 in Union County to Jack and Mary Carpenter.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings.

Allen attended Derita High School.  He married the love of his life, Emily Braley Carpenter and through that union came 2 amazing children and 2 grandchildren.

He was successful in owning and operating Carpenters Gulf Gas Station.  Then he went to work for Faulk Brothers Hardware.  He loved being outside and enjoying the sunshine. Allen also had a love for old A Model Cars, and the Price is Right. His grandchildren were the joy of his life.  He enjoyed taking them on numerous beach trips and watching them play sports.

One thing everyone will always remember is, Allen was always there when you needed him!!

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg.

Survivors include wife, Emily Carpenter; son, Wayne Carpenter (Pam); daughter, Lisa Jolly (Wendell); grandson, Colby, (Covey) and granddaughter Alyssa (Cody).
