Tommy Shinn

Tommy Carrolle Shinn, 78, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Tucker Hospice House. The family will receive friends at Center Grove United Methodist Church, Midland on Friday, December 21, 2012, from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Alan Thomas, will be held at Center Grove United Methodist Church, on Friday, December 21, 2012, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Mr. Shinn was born on August 19, 1934, in Cabarrus County, to the late Ralph Shinn and the late Frances Shinn. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Shinn; three sons, Donald Shinn of Mount Pleasant, Charles Shinn of Mount Pleasant and David Shinn of Mount Pleasant; a brother Robert Shinn of Concord.
