Trent Furr

Trent McLane Furr, age 35 of Albemarle passed away on Thursday, August, 2, 2012 in Jacksonville, NC. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Saturday, August 4 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, at Congregational Christian Church at 4:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Donald Ray Johnson. At other times, the family will meet at his parent’s home, 704 Salisbury Avenue. Trent was born in Stanly County on September 9, 1976 to Darrell and Victoria Lynn Hatley Furr. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of twelve years, Kymberli Shea West Furr, of the home; one son, Tyler; one daughter, Reagan, both of the home; one sister, Dawn Braswell and her husband, Scott of Troy; one niece, Bailey Braswell; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Trent was a member of Congregational Christian Church and the men’s fellowship. He enjoyed church cookouts, particularly grilling. He worked for Albemarle Alarm and Electronics for 15 years. He was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his children. Memorials may be made to Hartsell Funeral Home, c/o Trent Furr, PO Box 7, Albemarle, NC 28002 to assist with funeral expenses.
