Troy Mccrary, Sr

Troy (Peewee) Roland McCrary, Age 82 of 4325 Flowe Store Road, Concord, North Carolina 28025, passed away on December 17, 2009 at CMC- NorthEast Medical Center in Concord?. Born in Mecklenburg County on February 18, 1927. He was preceded in death by his spouses Sis Elsie McCrary Morgan, Ruth McCrary, his father Troy Albert McCrary and mother Flodetta Putnam McCrary, brothers- Harley and Bill McCrary, and sisters- Margaret Kiker and Joyce Spencer. He was retired from Cannon Mills Company as a fixer. Mr. McCrary was a US Army Veteran having served in World War II. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Nascar fan and he enjoyed fishing. He was of the Baptist faith. The family meeting place will be at the home of a son Ricky McCrary, 10 Meadowview Avenue, Concord, NC. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord. Graveside services will be held at West Concord Cemetery on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Graveside military honors wil be performed by The Cabarrus County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Troy Roland McCrary, Sr. was survived by his sons, Troy McCrary, Jr. and wife Barbara of Concord, Ricky McCrary and wife Crystal of Concord, and Morgan McCrary of Concord, his sisters, Vada Dry of Concord, Dot Price of Charlotte, his brother,Don McCrary of Concord, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
