Trudon Lubamba

Mr. Trudon M. Lubamba, 78, a loving father passed away on December 12, 2018 in North Carolina joining his wife Antoinette Kapinga Tshikaya Lubamba who went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2010.

Mr. Lubamba is survived by his children Alain, Gisele, Eric, Wivine, Vicky, Joseph, Olivier, Carine, Patricia and Laeticia, his grandchildren; Gislain, Pauselle, Erica-Grace, Eli, Gloriest, Daniel, Nathan, Daniela, Precieuse,  Gaelle, Curtis,  Evan and Ridley,  many nieces and nephews including Gisele, Micheline, Clara, Alain, Josette, Doris, Fally, Patrick, Tshombo, Mpiana, Lubamba, Jean Claude, Jacquie, Francine, Mami, and Lucie. He is also survived by his son in laws and daughter in laws Paulin, Cathy, Nana, Germain, Gabriel, Midon, Jean Marie, Bernard, Thierry and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lubamba earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Kinshasa and worked in various leadership roles and retired as a Director of Management of the Foreign Debt of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He was also General Secretary of the Agence Zairoise de Distribution d Automobile Mazda Division.

Mr. Lubamba was a loving and kind father who instilled in his children the idea that in life we fight every day and we should never give up until the last day. He will be remembered by his children as Papa and by his grandkids as Trud.

A Visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Homes, 12115 University City Blvd. Harrisburg NC 28075 on Friday, December 28, from 6pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held at West Cabarrus Church, 7655 Bruton Smith Blvd, Concord NC 28027 at 12pm on Saturday, December 29. Following the funeral service the interment will take place at Carolina Memorial Park of Harrisburg 12015 University City Blvd, Charlotte NC 28213. After the interment refreshments will be served at West Cabarrus Church 7655 Bruton Smith Blvd, Concord NC 28027.
