Biography
Tullie Lynne Newton, 82 years of age, of Mount Pleasant, passed away in the early hours of February 20, 2017.
Tullie was born June 16, 1934 in North Carolina to the late Hoyle Vernell Newton and Lillian Irene Wylie. She also preceded in death by son, Newton Carlton Slawson; daughter, Penelope Henry; brother, Wylie Hoyle Newton, Sr.; niece, Donna Newton Styers.
A Memorial service will be at Ann Street United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 3:00 pm.
Survivors include brother, William Newton of Mount Pleasant, NC; two nieces, Billinda and Kelly Newton; nephews, Wylie Hoyle, Perry Newton, Phillip and Bruce Gray; sister in law, Kay Love Newton.
Memorials may be made to Ann Street United Methodist Church, 335 Ann St NW, Concord, NC 28025.
