Tyler Mahaffey

Tyler Monroe Mahaffey, Sr., 54, of Kannapolis, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at his home. Mr. Mahaffey was born on May 31, 1957, to the late Albert Lee Mahaffey, Sr. and the late Pearl Irene Gates Mahaffey. He is survived by two sons, Tyler Monroe Mahaffey, Jr. and Jonah William Mahaffey of Concord, a daughter, Rachel Colleen Mahaffey of Concord; a daughter-in-law, Crystal Mahaffey of Concord; two brothers, Albert Mahaffey of Jacksonville, FL and James Mahaffey of Kannapolis; three sisters, Dannie Lynne Mahaffey of Kannapolis, Debbie Mahaffey of Kannapolis and Dorothy Mahaffey of Jacksonville, FL and four grandchildren, Christopher, Cameron, Michelle and Olivia Mahaffey, all of Concord. Mr. Mahaffey was a great provider, devoted father and grandfather, very caring and always put everyone else first. He took time out to spend with his family. He was a very spiritual man and will be greatly missed. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Mahaffey family.
