Raymond Van McDonald, 64 years of age, of New London, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Raymond was born March 18, 1952 in North Carolina to Grady Robert McDonald and Mattie Lee Kennedy. He was also preceded in death by sister, Doris McDonald.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 8, 2016, 1:00 pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 5340 Flowes Store Rd., Concord, officiated by Rev. Tim Newton.
Survivors include his wife, Aivonia McDonald of New London; daughter, Taffy McDonald; granddaughter, Angel McDonald.
