Vassie Taylor

Vassie Louise Morgan Taylor, Age 94 of 20552 Hatley Rd, Oakboro, NC., formerly of Concord, NC 28129, passed away on March 02, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Born in Stanly County on November 22, 1915. Vassie Louise Morgan Taylor was preceded in death by her husband- Grady Edgar Taylor her mother Rosa Barbee Morgan and father David Jerome Morgan . She was a graduate of Oakboro High School. She was retired from Cannon Mills in Kannapolis with 25 years of service and then in her retirement she worked for Wendy’s for 20 years until the age of 93. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. Funeral service will held on Thursday, March 04, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Liberty Hill Primitive Bapt Church, with a 30 minute state. Elder Ted Morton officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Primitive Bapt Cemetery Vassie Louise Morgan Taylor is survived by her son Randy Taylor and wife Pam of Duluth GA, her grandchildren Justin Taylor and wife Jaime of Buford Ga, and John Taylor of Buford, Ga. and 3 great-grandchildren.
