Velma Cole

Velma Irene Cole, 76, of Albemarle, NC passed away on February 26, 2011 at her home in Albemarle. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1 from 3-4 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home. The service will follow at 4 PM in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jessie Dennis will officiate the services. At other times the family will meet at her home, 115 Saint Martin Road Lot 24, Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Cole was born in Stanly County on October 29, 1934 to the late Homer and Fannie Moss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Benson Milas Clayton Cole Jr. ? Mrs. Cole is survived by her sons, Randy Cole of New London, Ben Cole of Albemarle; daughters, Kathy Boone of Albemarle, Karen Earnhardt of Albemarle, Kim Sinclair of Concord; sister, Lois Lefler of Albemarle; grandchildren, Joe Cole, Chris Cole, Angie Cole, Benny Cole, Shannon Boone, Nicolas Boone, Danielle Boone, and Melody Earnhardt; also five great-granchildren.
