Vernon Bullard

Vernon Bullard, age 68 of 24520 Half Mile Road, Albemarle, NC 28001, passed away on May 22, 2011 at Universal Healthcare in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 6pm until 8:30pm. Funeral service will be at 2pm, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in the Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. Rev. Johnny Canup and Rev Hoyle Huneycutt will officiate the service. Mr. Bullard was born in Cabarrus County on August 27, 1942 to the late Julian Bullard and Mary Jane Clark Bullard. Mr. Bullard is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rosa Beatrice Huneycutt Bullard of the home; son John Bullard and wife Cheryl of Edgewater, FL; daughter, Dawn Lee and husband Mark of Pooler, GA; grandchildren, Brianna, Sydney and Emma. A member of Laurel Street Baptist Church, he was also a very passionate self-employed musician and artist.
