Vi Inman

Vi Jane Bledsoe Inman, 89 years of age, of Troy, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor.

Mrs. Inman was born June 21, 1927 in Surry County to the late William Robert Bledsoe and Nancy Draughn Bledsoe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cabot Turner Inman, eight brothers and three sisters.

She was a charter member of Westbrook Baptist Church in Troy and was a music director at the church for thirty one years in addition to being a Sunday School Teacher. She was the owner and operator of Vi Jane's Ladies Apparel in Troy for twenty seven years.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Jessie Dennis and Pastor Grady Blakely. Entombment will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory Mausoleum at 2001 East Main Street, Albemarle.

Survivors include son, John Inman and wife Frances of Troy; daughter, Dianne Dennis and husband Jessie of Troy; grandchildren, Jane (Chuck) Lentz of Albemarle, Judy (Paul) Dietz of Fayetteville, Maria Inman of Troy, and Jonathan Inman of Troy; twelve great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
