Vickie Carolyn Gaston, 60, of Albemarle, passed away March 1, 2013 at Bethany Woods. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. At other times the family will meet at the home of her sister, Cleo Shaver, 580 Sides Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146. The funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 4:00 pm. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel UMC Cemetery in Misenheimer, N. C. Born September 24, 1952 in Stanly County, she is the daughter of the late Richard Harrison Vanhoy and the late Mabel Cleo Barringer Vanhoy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Mabry. She is survived by a daughter, Sherri Quinn and her husband Eddie, of Gastonia; sisters, Cleo Shaver and her husband Lee of Salisbury and Linda Zimmerle and her husband Randy of Concord; two grandchildren, Vanessa Quinn and Leslie Quinn.
