Viola Alexander

Viola Anican Alexander, 90 of Midland, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Mrs. Alexander was born October 21, 1922 in Cabarrus County to the late Thomas Wilson Kiser and Margaret Kindley Kiser. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Junior Horace Alexander, son-in-law, Ronnie Efird and a great-granddaughter Addison Lisk. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 6 till 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Howell's Baptist Church on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 4 pm, officiated by Rev. Gary Pinkley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times the family will be meeting at the home of her daughter Carolyn Efird. Survivors include daughter, Carolyn Efird of Midland; son, Tommy Alexander and wife Melissa of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Scott Efird and wife Terry, Daniel Efird and wife Heidi, David Alexander and wife Lisa, and Jennifer Lisk and husband Dustin; eleven great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex, Natalie, Mallory, Brian, Brooke, Katie, Will, Lauren, Ava, and Drew.
