Violet Fowler
February 9, 1937 — December 22, 2016
Violet Ann Hatley Fowler, 79, of Albemarle, with her son and daughter by her side, passed away late Thursday night, December 22, 2016 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Violet was born February 9, 1937 to the late James Tillman Hatley and the late Melinda Sue Eudy Hatley. She was also preceded in death by a sister Betty Earnhardt.
The family will welcome friends at the home of Juanita Norris.
She is survived by her son, Virrian Norris and wife Debora of Norwood; daughter, Juanita Norris of Albemarle; sister, Buleah Furr of Albemarle; brother, CJ Huneycutt of Albemare; grandson, Mark Britt and wife Heather, granddaughters, Laura Mabry and husband Dennis, and Leah Norris, and three great-grandchildren, Aliye and Jace Mabry and Carmen Britt.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Albemarle at 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Joe Smith and grandson, Mark Britt.
