Virginia Lois Nance was born on November 06, 1925 in Anson County, NC to Clayton Nance and Foye Helms Nance. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Spencer Earnhardt, brother, Nathan Nance, sister Betty, and granddaughter, Amelia.
She received her education at Burnsville High School and nursing at Anson Tech. College. She was employed by Polkton Mfg. Co. and Anson County Hospital. She became a nurse at the age of 50. She was a charter member of the Burnsville Fire and Rescue for 30 years. She accepted the Lord as her savior in 1948.
Lois married Spencer Earnhardt in 1941 and they had two sons; Alvin (Sandra), Max (Anna) and one daughter; Elaine (Jonathan).
She had seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Lois married Bill Cagle in 1998 having one stepdaughter, Ruth Ann and two stepsons, Ward and John.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 01, 2020 at 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle with the Service following at 1:00 at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Mark Little. Burial for family only will conclude at Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Polkton, NC.
