Virginia Eudy

Virginia Grace Wilkinson Eudy, 91 years of age, of New London, entered into Eternal rest after a long journey with illness on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle.

Mrs. Eudy was born May 22, 1925 in Stanly County, North Carolina to the late James Wilkinson and the late Lizzie Wilkinson. She was also preceded in death by the love of her life husband, James Leon Eudy.

Virginia resided in Stanly County her entire life and maintained her retirement as a housewife.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Jim Pyatt. Burial will be held at the New London Cemetery at 331 Spring Street, New London.

Survivors include sons, Ronald L. Eudy and wife Brenda and Mickey A. Eudy and wife Deborah both of New London. She regretfully leaves behind five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
