Virginia Faggart

Virginia Beaver Murph Faggart, 92 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Virginia was born August 9, 1924 in Concord, NC to the late Charles Wesley Murph and the late Anne Elizabeth Murph. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ray Faggart, Jr. in 1991; her sisters Inez Murph, Katherine Lanier and Mary Morgan; and son-in-law Howard Jordan.

Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Faggart Jordan, and Jan Faggart Myrick and husband Howard; grandchildren Jeff Jordan and wife Kellie, Janna Jordan, and Kim Webster; great grandchildren Rachel, Bailey and Valerie Webster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the home caregivers, Brookdale Assisted Living and Tucker Hospice House.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Wayne Allen and Pastor David Franks. Burial will then follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
