Virginia Haney

Virginia “Dollene” Haney, age 61 of China Grove, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Hinkle Hospice House, Lexington, NC. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 23 at 4pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Dr. Toney Franklin. Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Kannapolis, NC. Ms. Haney was born on October 9, 1949, to the late Simon Billings and the late Nellie Virginia Ervin. She is also preceded in death by her husband, CJ Haney. She is survived by a daughter, Shellie Weaver of China Grove; brothers, Wayne Billings of Lincolnton, Mack Billings of Gastonia, Danny Billings of Salisbury; grandchildren, Norman, Bryanna and Calyx Weaver. Mrs. Haney was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and was employed as an inspector for Centurian Medical Supply. Hartsell funeral home of Concord is serving the Haney family.
