Virginia Hatley

Virginia Mae “Ginny” Hatley, 84, of Locust, passed away June 16, 2013 at Spring Arbor of Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:00 am. Elder Eddie Fowler and Rev. Jeremy Hyde will officiate. The burial will be in Running Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Locust. Born November 12, 1928, in Stanly County, NC, she is the daughter of the late Fred Lee Hatley and the late Betha Odessa Hinson Hatley. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Helen Hatley Eudy. She is survived by a niece, Sheila Albritton and husband Fran, of Locust; nephew Roger Dale Eudy and wife Becky of Locust; brother-in-law, Leo Eudy of Locust; great nieces, Christy Baggarly, Heather Albritton; great nephews, Garrett Eudy and Brandon Albritton; great grand nephews, Reid and Colton Baggarly. She was a retired inspector for Comar, Locust and a member of Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Locust. Memorials may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 120 N.
