Virginia Honeycutt

Virginia JoAnn Honeycutt, 70, of Concord, NC passed away early Monday morning, July 24, 2017 at Carolinas Health Care System Main in Charlotte NC.

Mrs. Honeycutt was born March 21, 1947 in Concord, NC to the late Robert Henry Motley and the late Edith Gaddy Rary. She is preceded in death by one brother and her two sisters. Mrs. Honeycutt was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, NC with Rev. Roger Bostic officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery in Kannapolis at a later date.

Survivors include her loving husband, Rickey Lee Honeycutt of Concord, NC; three daughters, Vanessa J. Russell of Robinson, IL; Carolyn Russell of Concord, NC; and Edith G. (Paul) Finch of Rockford, IL; a son Roman "Eddie" E. Russell of Rockford, IL; one step-daughter, Wendy L. (Jerry) Parker of Concord; step-son, Johnny B. (Amanda) Honeycutt of Holly Springs, NC; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

JoAnn will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted family and many friends. May God grant her eternal rest.
