Virginia Jackson

Virginia Little - Jackson, 73, of 6304 Indian Trail Fairview Road, Indian Trail, and of 8757 Renee Ford Road, Stanfield, passed away on October 29, 2009, at her home in Indian Trail. She was born in, Anson County on March 12, 1936, to Wilkie Preslar and Earcil Nash Preslar who preceded her in death. A daughter, Paula Whitley, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Little – Jackson, an office administrator with Hendrick Auto, Monroe, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Monroe. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, and at her home, 8757 Renee Ford Road, Stanfield, at other times. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, with Rev. Ted Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Virginia Little Jackson is survived by her husband, Harold Jackson; sons, Berry Whitley of Lincolnton, Perry A. Whitley and wife, Pat, of Fuquay Varina, NC; adopted son, Brian McSwain of Lincolnton, step-daughters, Lisa Grieff, and husband, Michael, of Thomasville, and Tracy Newton of Indian Trail; grandchildren, Chris Whitley and wife, Trista of Crossnore, NC, Jennifer Liverman and husband, Bobby of Nashville NC, and William Whitley of Fuquay Varina, NC.
