Virginia Medlin

Virginia Treece Medlin, 94 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Medlin was born May 28, 1923 in Stanly County to the late Willie Travis Treece, Sr  and  the late Addie Harris Treece. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Artis Crowell Medlin; and a sister, Mildred Treece Ferrari.

The graveside service will be on Friday, February 23, 2018  at 11:00AM at Mountain Creek Primitive Baptist Church at 40232 Mountain Creek Road, New London officiated by Dr. Wayne Bennett

Survivors include son, Gary Michael Medlin and wife Pamela of Albemarle; daughter, Gayle Medlin Blanton and husband Michael of Fuquay-Varina; son, Marty Crowell Medlin and wife Donna of New London; grandchildren, Aaron Banks Medlin of Albemarle, Neil Thatcher Medlin of Rincon, GA, Jennie Harkey Furr  and husband Ashley of Stanfield, Madeline Medlin Crump and husband Austin of Albemarle, Noah Jeffrey Medlin of Albemarle and Elizabeth Ann Medlin of Albemarle; great grandchildren, Joseph Gray Medlin of Albemarle, Hunter Elizabeth Medlin of Albemarle, Mason Lane Furr of Stanfield, Jack Samson Marsh of Albemarle and Chord Immanuel Crump of Albemarle; brother, Willie Travis Treece, Jr  and wife Maxine of New London; nieces, Susan Teresa Reap of Albemarle, Dianne Smith of Charlotte, Donna T. Sides of Garner, and Susan T. Gant of Burlington.
