Virginia Sehorn

Virginia Sehorn, 103 years of age, of Concord, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 9, 1910 in Concord to the late Edward and Esther Barnhardt. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Sehorn;a son, Herman Whitley, Jr.; a grandson, Mike Whitley; a brother, Lemuel Barnhardt; three sisters, Melba Eudy, Macile Kirk and Dahlia Barhardt. The family will receive friends from at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Thursday, June 27,2013 from 2:30pm until 4:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Kip Mobley, will be held after the visitation on Thursday at 4:00pm. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Mrs Sehorn is survived by a son, James Whitley and wife Mary of Concord, NC; two grandsons, Terry Lane Whitley and wife Jane and Ronnie Whitley and wife Kathy; a granddaughter, Tammy Fulk and husband Todd; six great grandchildren, Brian Whitley, Kristen Threatt and husband Paul, Leah Hathcock, Dylan Fulk, Cohl Fulk and Nikki Womack; two great great grandchildren, Kaylie Threatt and Kennedy Threatt.
